亦作“褒贤”。嘉奖贤人。《晋书·天文志上》：“南斗六星，天庙也，丞相太宰之位，主褒贤进士，禀授爵禄。” 南朝 宋 傅亮 《为宋公修楚元王墓教》：“夫襃贤崇德，千载弥光；尊本敬始，义隆自远。”
